THE PROJECT
MIG Fabrication not only fabricate fully custom Ute Trays and Canopies, MIG also complete general metal fabrication work, including custom commercial trailers. So when Downer Group needed a couple of custom box trailers, look no further.
THE BUILD
The two trailers needed to be practical as they were predominately being used for trades. The trailers features included;
Deck Size 1800 x 1250 3mm
1400mm high sides with hinged doors to DRV
PASS sides and barn doors to rear.
Eye/Eye Leaf Suspension with 7 leaf 800kg rated
Square Axle 50mm - 1600kg
5 stud FORD pattern hubs with Parallel bearings
rated to 1600kg

8in HD folding jockey wheel
HD Frame with extended drawbar 1500mm L
10 inch Hydraulic DISC Brakes

7 pin flat and 7 pin round plug leads with base plug to draw bar allowing quick change.
Fully bead blasted, Etch Primed and 4 Enamel Coats
