THE PROJECT
MIG Fabrications first build at the new facility in Moorabbin was for Slatter Building owner Jack. A brand new 2022 Toyota HiLux SR in glacier white from Frankston Toyota for a complete build and accessory fit-out.
THE BUILD
The focal point on this MIGRIG is the Slatter Building logo mesh headboard on the custom MIG Fabrication dual cab ute tray using a combination of steel and aluminium. The 1820w x 1800l steel frame housed an aluminium checkerplate floor and steel drop sides. Full driver side aluminum custom MIG toolbox with central locking, adjustable full length shelf and 2x internal draws weight rated, tie down channel against the rear wall & tie down rail full length. Everything powder coated in textura black.
To make the HiLux stand out amongst the rest we fitted a safari bullbar with underbody protection, steel side steps both powder coated in textura black to suit the custom ute tray and lastly we installed a Milford towbar. Our auto electricians fit a reverse camera into the factory head unit and we did in-house window tinting 35% Darkest legal to front & 20% Darkest legal to rear/ cargo.

ANOTHER MIGRIG
With the MIG custom fabricated tray and all the accessory's fitted, the HiLux definitely left MIG HQ a mean machine. Thanks to Slatter Building for the opportunity, with one last parting gift we'll see this MIGRIG around town.
PART 2.0 - JACKS HILUX IS BACK
We love a familiar face at MIG Fabrication so when Jack stopped by needing a few other accessories fitted to the MIGRIG we got to work. A custom MIG Fabrication roof rack to suit the custom dual cab ute tray & toolbox. The custom roof rack is 3300L x 1400W x 100H made from Australian steel so is heavy duty and made to take a load.
